1. Go to 'My Account' at www.karoo.co.uk. This takes you to the Karoo Control Panel.
2. Log into your account by entering your Karoo username (nodename) and password.
3. Click on the link ‘Change Your Spam Settings’ and you will be shown this screen:
4. Select the level of spam filtering you wish to receive by clicking in the appropriate circle (Karoo defaults to its recommended setting of ‘Strong’).
Please note: If you select ‘Aggressive’ you will need to check your junk email folder regularly to make sure that legitimate emails have not been detected as spam.

5. You can block attachments in emails by clicking in the box next to the type of attachment.
Please note: When you select one of the attachment filter groups, every file type within that category will be blocked. The categories include the following file types:
Executable Files - This filter will block any Windows executables
(programs) with the following extensions:

Perl, Javascript and binary files - This filter will block scripts and binary files with the following extensions:

6. Once you have selected your preferred settings click ‘Save Changes’
