Statically Assign your DNS Settings

Note: Windows Vista has added security features such as the User Account Controls. If you encounter the UAC during this operation, select the option that will allow you to continue.

  1. Click the Start button on your Windows toolbar located at the bottom left of your screen.
  2. Select Network.
  3. Select Network and Sharing Center from the main menu.
  4. Select Manage network connections from the menu on the left.

    A list of network adapters that are installed on your computer displays on the screen.

  5. Right click on the network adapter you want to change, and then select Properties.
  6. In the This connection uses the following items: field, select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and then click the Properties button.
  7. Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
  8. Insert the following DNS server addresses: Preferred DNS server: 212.50.160.38 & Alternative DNS server: 213.249.130.101
  9. Click OK to save your changes
