Statically Assign your DNS Settings
Note: Windows Vista has added security features such as the User Account Controls. If you encounter the UAC during this operation, select the option that will allow you to continue.
- Click the Start button on your Windows toolbar located at the bottom left of your screen.
- Select Network.
- Select Network and Sharing Center from the main menu.
- Select Manage network connections from the menu on the left.
A list of network adapters that are installed on your computer displays on the screen.
- Right click on the network adapter you want to change, and then select Properties.
- In the This connection uses the following items: field, select Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) and then click the Properties button.
- Select Use the following DNS server addresses.
- Insert the following DNS server addresses: Preferred DNS server: 212.50.160.38 &
Alternative DNS server: 213.249.130.101
- Click OK to save your changes
