Check existing settings in Microsoft Outlook 2002
It is essential that email settings are correct when sending mail. Installing the Karoo software should automatically set up an email account for you. To check that the details for an existing email account are correct follow the steps below.
1. Select 'Tools', then 'E-mail Accounts' from the Outlook menu bar.
2. Highlight "View or change existing email accounts" and click "Next".
3. You now need to check your personal and login information.
- The "Your Name:", should be your name how you would like it to appear int he "From" field.
- The "E-mail Address:", should have your Karoo email address.
- The incoming mail server (POP) should be pop.karoo.co.uk
- The outgoing mail server (SMTP) should be smtp.karoo.co.uk
- The "User Name:", should be your email address. As default this is username@username.karoo.co.uk
- The "Password", should your Internet password.
Once all the fields are correct, click "Next".
4. Click "Finish".
