The body swerve dribbling skill is to trick the defender into moving the wrong way

With the ball on your right foot, begin to transfer your body weight as if you're turning left. Instead of turning to the left, quickly lean to the right, and go in the opposite direction.

Acceleration is of great importance in manoeuvres like this. Although speed is important, sudden changes in speed can beat the defender.
