Why would I want it?
- To remain contactable no matter where you are or what you're doing!
- Call Diversion lets you transfer all your calls to another number
What will it cost me?
It's FREE to set this service up. You only pay for the diverted part of the call and this is dependent on your KC Talk Package for example:
- Local to Local will be free as all KC talk plans include free local calls
- Local to National on KC Talk1 during the day will be 3.25p per minute
What else do I need to know?
There are 3 types of Call Diversion:
- Basic Call Diversion – transfers your call to a number chosen by you
- Diversion No Reply – transfers your call automatically if you haven't answered it within 15 seconds
- Diversion On Busy – transfers your call automatically when your phone is engaged
The person calling you will hear an announcement telling them their call is being transferred.
What do I need to do?
Just follow these simple instructions:
Basic Call Diversion Set-up
Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone
- To set up: * 2 1 * (new number) #
- To check: * # 2 1 #
- To cancel: # 2 1 #
Diversion No Reply Set-up
Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone
- To set up: * 6 1 * (new number) #
- To check: * # 6 1 #
- To cancel: # 6 1 #
Diversion on Busy Set-up
Lift the handset and wait for the dial tone
- To set up: * 6 7 * (new number) #
- To check: * # 6 7 #
- To cancel: # 6 7 #
