Our New Generation, up to 24Mbps broadband isn't just fast… it's superfast AND reliable, so you can download films, music and photos faster.
It's delivered through ADSL2+ technology, which has the potential to provide connection speeds as high as 24Mbps downstream and 1Mbps upstream.
Not everyone will be able to surf this fast, because factors like how far you live from the exchange, will ultimately determine the highest speed achievable on your line (the further away the weaker the signal).
We don't do gimmicks …
We know how important the speed you get is to you – that's why we comply to Ofcom's Voluntary Code of Practice for Broadband Speeds, all about providing you, the customer, with as much information about the speed you will get as possible.
We will also tell you before you sign-up what the average connection speed for your postcode is, or you can check yourself using our Broadband speed checker. Your account will be set at this speed because we want to give you a reliable connection, and our research shows that this is the most stable speed you will connect at.
